Orange Mini Tartlets

Some time ago I tried this typical Portuguese dessert, I enjoyed it and needed to try something similar again. After much research, finally I have the recipe and now I'm going to share this with you, so you can see how good they are.

Ingredients for the Tartlets:

- 125ml of Cream.
- 1 Spoon of Sugar.
- Cinnamon.
- 1 Egg.
- Orange Zest.
- Half of a plaque of Puff pastry.

Ingredients for the caramel:

- Orange juice.
- Sugar.

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
First we put cinnamon on our puff pastry and extend it with the hand. Now roll up the dough and cut it in half, these two halves cut it again, this time in 3. Now we take the dough pieces, put them standing and crushed. In a baking cupcakes or tarts mold, we put each of the dough pieces and extends the dough to make the shape of tartlet. Put in the oven at 180 degrees for about 8 minutes (be careful, if it starts to brown before 8 minutes, remove from the oven).

While the other is in the oven, prepare the filling. In a bowl mix the cream, sugar, egg and orange zest. Once we have and the tarts are out of the oven, we take our hot tarts and crush carefully inside to make more space. Then we fill the tarts with the filling and put them back in the oven at 180 degrees until the filling is puffed like a cake.

Once ready, let cool and prepare the caramel in a saucepan with sugar and orange juice. When the caramel is ready, we decorate our tarts and ready to enjoy.

I hope you liked the recipe and do not forget to share with family and friends.
